No, you do not have to be home in order to use our pickup and delivery service. To provide us with access to your clothes without you being home, here are a few commonly used options:
- An easily accessible area at your home, such as a porch, front stoop, backyard, etc.
- Access to the lobby of apartment buildings with front desk attendants, where customers can leave and retrieve laundry orders.
- A key or alarm to access apartment buildings without an attended front desk, in which case customers leave their laundry in the lobby or outside their apartment door.
All wash, dry and fold orders will be returned on the following business day. Any dry cleaning orders will be returned on the second business day. All Friday pick ups will be delivered on the following Monday.
No. Once the order is received by our driver, your bag is quickly labeled with your relevant information. Each customer is processed as an individual order, maintaining the information of each machine used throughout the process. We put your clothes in your own washers and dryers.
The minimum pickup and delivery charge is $25. There is no minimum for dry cleaning when combining it with a wash, dry and fold order. Please note there is a $10 missed pick up or delivery fee. Please be considerate of our drivers. Route efficiency keeps our prices competitive.
Our basic “per pound” price covers items that can be sorted into dark-colored loads and whites. Our basic price includes premium detergents & softeners; washing, drying, folding and packaging. Comforters and blankets are priced on a per piece basis.
We accept all major credits (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and cash. Payment is due at time of delivery or the order can not be dropped off.
Before you contact us about damages, please consider that many factors affecting your clothes are outside our control:
- We cannot guarantee against color loss, shrinkage, or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; We cannot guarantee against color bleed-over from new clothes or clothes with poorly set dyes.
- We do our best to identify and remove dry clean only items, but we cannot be responsible for damage to dry clean only items that you put into your laundry bag and we do not identify and remove.
- We cannot be responsible for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, severe soiling that requires special treatment or “lost socks” and similar mismatches.
- Our company’s liability with respect to damaged articles shall not exceed 10 times our charge for processing it.
You are responsible for what you put into your laundry bag. Please tell us if there are items in your laundry bag that require special handling or that you want to account for specifically on the invoice; otherwise, we accept your bulk laundry “as is” and you agree to accept it from Fluff ‘n Fold Dry Cleaning and Laundromat “as is”.
